Firmation
Firmation is a firm but limited decision that preserves a final reservation, protected exception, or boundary beyond which a person remains unwilling to follow agat.
The distinction it protects
Strength and completeness are different qualities.
A commitment may be serious, demanding, and durable without directing the whole life. Firmation names that limited form so it is not confused with wholition.
It is primarily a contrastive term, not an equally sufficient alternative to wholition.
