Definition

Telway

A telway is a shared structure for turning an ethical direction into a way of life through symbolic, psychological, communal, and practical resources, without requiring everyone to share the same metaphysical beliefs.

The distinction it protects

It is more than a philosophy and does not require one religion.

A philosophy may define ideas without building the resources through which people internalize and live them. A religion commonly provides those resources while requiring particular metaphysical commitments. A telway joins ethical direction and lived structure while preserving metaphysical openness.

In the path

Use shared resources without surrendering honest belief.

Fidence Path is a telway organized as a decentralized network. Its symbols, practices, communities, and institutions serve the ethical direction and the people who follow it.
